Earthly Delights

People who read my blog know this picture... It's from a brilliant and very rare book called An Index of Possibilities. It was written in the 70s: a giant floppy dog-eared catalogue of wackily illustrated cosmical, earthly, atomical, human-y stuff. Also in my stratosphere tonight, as it's still only a fraction of a degree outside (and my sister is going to sunny LA for a day tomorrow, dang!) are these videos: Embrace Your Inner Girl — about the way of compassion, love, vulnerability — all things that are frowned upon as we are called to "be a man", "a woman" or to "be strong" and "don't cry." In the video, Eve Ensler points to the state of the world as we know it (which we were born into unknowingly, from which galaxy? We are waking up) and questions whether it isn't the destruction of this "girl cell" throughout humanity, which has added to the pain of madness which is everywhere in some form today. (No, it doesn't do us any favors to pretend that "all is well" when perhaps it isn't, and honesty is the first step to cleaning something up. We've gotta get real.)

Second video from within the stratospheric gravitational pullage, is this moody wonderland of discussion regarding the Context of Ecstasy. People often wonder where it all comes from, don't they. Heck, I've been frowned upon for my joyous expression at times, but I don't take it personally. Where does the water come from? I am just a channel for it all. It is not mine to possess, not mine to keep hold of. You know where to find me. Here's another one called: Being Alive.
